As the tale goes, Utong Maba (SJG family fish pond) is the milestone that marked the beginning of the clan's gathering and journey.

It was named after a tree "Maba" that used to be grown wildly at the surrounding banks of the pond.

The construction works on the restoration of the pond begun in 2014 with manpower contributed and supplied by members of the clan themselves.

Utong Maba had its massive contribution to the clans when fish were harvested in 2015 for the first time. The fish were distributed among all the 62 families from the respective 'cabang' of the clan.

The harvesting activities during the Utong Maba Festival has since continued.
